Michael Schuster: fine, sweet, cedary nose, with that touch of herbaceousness (their Merlot) that is often a Pichon Lalande telltale; medium-full, fresh, firmly tannic, if only moderately concentrated in the context of the year and the commune; a little dry-edged in texture around a moderate complexity; freshly ripe, quite fine and Merlot-fluid in character, but not the class or trame of the best at this level. A very good, not great, Lalande. 2020–35+. 17
