Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | Deep color, smooth, very diverse and harmonious aromas, silky texture over a base of firm tannins. Well-done Pauillac that runs free in the glass but is still less imposing than others. | 17
Michael Schuster | Moderate color; a very cedary nose, ripe blackcurrant cassis and mineral too; a fresh, juicy, middleweight, with a fine, slightly oak-dry tannin; very sweetly ripe, a deliciously seductive flavor, without the scope and complexity of a fine vintage, but pure, fragrant, flowing, transparent, and with excellent fruit persistence. This will make an atypical but lovely bottle. 2018–28. | 16.5
