Michael Schuster | Fresh, fragrant, and mineral to smell; fullish, very vital in acidity, drily firm in tannin; crisp and vibrant in flavor, transparent in character, of modest scope but nice length. Less immediately drinkable than usual; “It’s got a wee bit of an edge to it” as the Scottish winemaker Neil White put it. Usually accessible at once, this will probably need at least a couple of years in bottle first. 2024–30.
