Michael Schuster | A fine, very ripe-fruited nose; full, fresh, finely tannic, nicely balanced in its fuller, firmer style; ripely fruited, slightly dry in tannin texture (as so often), with a very nice length of flavor and, especially, aftertaste. Sapid, tasty, satisfying wine, characteristically much more to this than its modest Côtes de Bourg appellation would suggest. Accessible now, but time will certainly mellow and ameliorate. 2025–35+. | 91
