Andrew Jefford | Dense black-red. Rather simple fruit scents: tinned cherries; some brandied notes, too. Lacks a little freshness and precision, though articulate. This is true of the palate, too, which is a little constrained, sharp and with some bitter edges. | 86

Michael Schuster | Sweetly ripe Cabernet nose; medium-full, fresh, and finely, firmly tannic wine; brisk, savory flavor, with a very nice length, complex, gravelly, aromatic, and fine; a most successful Pédesclaux, and a lovely Pauillac. 2030–45+. | 91
