Andrew Jefford | Dark, saturated black-red, with both black and purple at the rim. Fresh, pure, and pencilly: very refined, elegant, and sustained. Creamy and fresh: a super aromatic profile. Lots of fruited intensity and drive on the palate. It does have the slightly cool, lean tone of Margaux in this vintage, but it also has ample concentration, poise, and classicism, so it will carry well in time. There is more density, too, than (for example) in Cantenac- Brown. A fine exemplar of its commune. | 92
Michael Schuster | Dense, almost black-ripe fruit to smell; rich, supple, fleshly midweight, very finely tannic; generous Margaux with plenty of juicily ripe fruit, succulent and seductive, long and refined and with very nice fruit-fragrant length; an immediately drinkable appeal, but plenty of time in the long term, too. 2022–40+. | 92+
