Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark, dense black-red. Very sweetly configured on the nose, but this is more to do with fruits than oak: a billow of black cherry with the memory of its blossom, as well as some sweeter, plumper bramble. Ripe and aromatically lustrous, yet graceful, too. A lovely cascade of bright, elegant, fresh fruits: the blackbird singing in the trees. Very pretty wine, majoring on the fresh, poised character of the vintage rather than any ballasted ripeness. | 89
Michael Schuster | Light, fine, subtly gravely nose; finely balanced, fresh, delicately tannic, medium-full wine, Margauxesque in style and proportions; sweetly, freshly ripe, long to taste, subtly aromatic, long to finish. Not big, but a very nice, complete midweight. 2024–34+. | 90
