Andrew Jefford | Deep, dark black-red at the core, graduating to a dark scarlet rim. Vivid, closely woven aromas of dark fruits and some dried fruit with soft spices: close-grained, fruity, and complex. Balanced, attractive, and enticing, with a gentler yet sweeter and more accessible style than many of its peers. Intense, lively, deep-driving fruits on the palate, with ample vintage freshness. Clean, firm, and frank wine, and a very fair account of the vintage; look for that aromatic sweetness to cross the palate before long. | 90
Michael Schuster | Ripe and oaky on the nose; full, fresh enough, firmly tannic; deep, sweet, bright flavor, marked by its new oak dryness, but with good length to taste and excellent length to finish. Like many St-Emilions, good quality, but for some reason the alcohol is clear here, at least for my palate. 2025–35+. | 90
