Michael Schuster | Dense, subtle, blackcurrant Cabernet to smell, subtly Médoc gravel-tinged; amply proportioned, full, generous, concentrated, firmly, but finely tannic; rich and fleshy textured wine, sweetly ripe yet remaining fresh; you sense a touch of super-ripe Merlot character, and this is enveloping, gently warm, long to taste, a showy, fairly powerful, notably plump expression of the cru, with excellent fruit-cored persistence. 2032–45+.
