Michael Schuster | A rich, plummy-ripe character, tasting it blind I might think it was Merlot-dominated to smell, but with a surprisingly floral aspect, too; full and very finely tannic; very ripe to taste, yet remaining fresh, too, long and elegant, with a gentle Pauillac sinew, a good length of flavor and excellent, lightly gravelly aromatic length. Poised, refined, stylish Pédesclaux. The best yet? 2030–2042+.
