Michael Schuster | A fine nose of floral ripe red fruit and subtle gravel impressions; full, moderately concentrated, fresh in acidity, very finely tannic; an elegantly balanced Sénéjac, with a flavor to mirror the nose, classic medium-full, dry red Bordeaux, Margauxesque in proportions, withatypical gravel-aroma’d background to the refreshing ripe red-fruit flavors; stylish, restrained, elegant midweight claret, with a nice length of flavor and a long, gravel-scented finish. Not a big wine, but a very attractive, complete, refined, mid-rank Médoc claret. Typically fine Sénéjac which will be accessible early, but age well, too. 2025–40+.
