Michael Schuster | Light, freshly fruity nose; fairly full, moderately concentrated, fresh and very light in tannin; light, sweetly ripe, deliciously juicy, easy, pure, straightforward wine with an attractive light fragrance, a marked, immediate, come- drink-me quality, and nice, light, scented length, too. For all its close to 15%, this is a really lovely, easy-drinking, sweetly fruity, St-Emilion. A sort of “what’s-not-to-like?” Right Bank claret! It is also so good, and always stands out as such in the Malthus line up, because the oak is absolutely imperceptible... as it should be! 2022–30+.
