Michael Schuster | fine to smell, fresh in fruit, new-oak edged; full-bodied, fresh in acidity, finely tannic; this is elegantly balanced, sweetly blackberry-ripe, freshly defined, easy and graceful across the palate, a touch new-wood dry (a new-barrel sample?), and with nice, gently fruit-fragrant, mineral-tinged length. Lovely mid-rank St-Emilion which will drink well young, but age well, too. 2025–40+.
