Stephen Brook | Bright juicy lime nose. This is sumptuous and generous and may well come from the loess sectors. While it doesn’t have outstanding acidity, it has an engaging fruitiness, even while flirting with an overt sweetness of fruit. It does lack persistence, though, and should probably be enjoyed fairly young. | 88
Andrew Jefford | Pale. Soft, expressive orchard fruits combined with a graceful, planty freshness. Sweet, lively, vivid—all those orchard fruits are there on the palate, with some slightly darker nut-skin flavors, too, and the finish is very choice and succulent (and Danubian). An exceptionally attractive wine only denied a top score by its lack of aromatic intricacy and finesse. | 89
Stephan Reinhardt | Bright, ripe, and concentrated fruit aromas and delicately spicy notes on the nose lead to a lush, round, sweet, pretty rich and aromatic palate, with intensity, finesse, and grip. Somewhat sweetish on the finish, but that might help this Veltliner to age well. | 90
