BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Dark ruby to pink. Closed, but clearly a muscular, potent nose, with black and red fruits, some oak, and dark, smoked-meat undertones. Full-bodied, with rich, noble tannins and mature black fruit. A touch rustic and overripe on the finish. Needs time to refine itself. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Dark black-red. Fragrant, refined, and warm, still with ample fruit sweetness: strawberry, apple, plum. Clean, limpid, and pristine. Pure, refined, and very deep on the palate, and very pure-fruited, too: vivid, searching, and refined. The other intricacies will come with time to this shapely, graceful, arrestingly beautiful wine. Just a little spice on the finish at present. Admirable concentration. | 92

Anthony Rose | Nicely saturated youthful ruby hue; complex aromas mingling herb, spice, and red fruits with a shading of vanilla oak; richly concentrated dark-berry fruit, intensely flavored, full-bodied, and powerful, in a bold framework of firm but not excessive tannins and nice freshness for balance. Lovely wine. | 93
