Neil Beckett | Grégory has the admirable aim of producing the best wine of its type, and it is hard to imagine a more exceptional village Pommard than this, in what he describes as its "glory vintage." No whole-bunch, but a long (30-day) maceration. A very aérien, graceful scent—"anti-Pommard," perhaps, pace Grégory, but very inviting. Equally seductive on the palate, with an astonishing cashmere softness, but also the freshness and supportive structure underneath not to seem loose or aimless. | 92–93
