Neil Beckett | An excellent expression of this very fine Beaune climat (roughly one third new oak). A lustrous medium-deep ruby. Darkly fruited on the nose, but with a lovely floral overlay. Appetizing and sapid on the palate, with cras elegance, freshness, and race, the finely granular quality "mineral rather than tannic," suggests Dimitri Bazas, but there is nothing at all hard, and it remains silky throughout. | 91
