Andrew Jefford: Clear and translucent garnet-red. Relatively secondary already, with the strawberryish red fruits now subsumed by something a little more mushroom-like and earthy. Attractive, though some drinkers might wish the fruits had held their aromatic presence a little longer. On its own terms, though, complex and resonant. Vivid, supple, full, and long, with a delicious cascade of ripe plum, strawberry, and red-apple fruits on the palate. The acidity is lively, and there are some supple framing tannins, too, to lend a little grip. Delicious, in resonantly ripe, soft, and enticing style. | 91
Jasper Morris: A clean, pure, medium-deep color. The bouquet has an agreeable light red fruit that continues on to the palate where the oak is just a little bit too present. There is plenty of fruit but the balance with the oak has not been judged quite perfectly. | 86
Catherine Petrie: Medium garnet with a pale rim. A light, fragrant nose of wild strawberries and leafy freshness suggest a simple, light, and easy palate to follow. The tannins are delicate and well-balanced with the acidity. Gentle and pleasant, not overly complex, but with a sweetness at its core that complements its aromatic style. Elegant and fine. | 90
