Andrew Jefford | Full mid-gold. Subtle, complex, and close- grained: talc and lanolin, with pounded nuts, marzipan, quiet pomegranate, and persimmon. Intriguing aromatics here: seamless and seductive, which is impressive as “seduction” isn’t a classic Timorasso trait. Full, mouthfilling, vigorous, deep, searching, and structured: an outstanding effort, which not only fills the mouth but which also has ample textural wealth and much finer fruit definition and depth than many of its peers.
