BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Straw with golden highlights. Still a touch closed on the nose, but with mature and complex yellow fruits, and crushed stones. Exuberant, lively palate, with high-tone yellow and green fruits and a lively, slightly green finish. | 90

Andrew Jefford | Pale silver gold-green. Soft, fresh, delicate grape, lemon, and grapefruit scents, with just a little cologne-like citrus, too. Quietly attractive. Taut, vivid, sappy, doughy, with some richness of flavor toward the finish. This wine strikes a happy balance between the vivacity, strike, and incision of the basic style parameters and something a little more vinous and structurally rewarding for “full-bottle drinking.” | 88

Michael Palij | A powerful nose, with camomile, nettle, greengage, almond, and mint. The finish has a rich, creamy note suggesting lees contact and possibly malolactic fermentation. Lovely weight of fruit to balance the acidity and the alcohol. | 86
