BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Very pale, watery straw. Lively, clean, and inviting floral nose, with aromatic herbs and white fruits. Clean yet slightly simple palate, but inviting and fairly long. | 86

Andrew Jefford | This is very pale for a Ribolla: a kind of thickened steel-white. Lots of primary fruits: dessert apple and white currant. A certain very primary style of Ribolla, though you will just catch a hint of smoke if you hunt around. Very taut and stripped back on the palate—a fresh, simple glass of seafood white. | 83

Michael Palij | The nose, at this stage in the wine’s development, seems devoid of any character. Delicate notes of honeysuckle, rose, and mandarin. The finish is short and vegetal. | 78
