BUY THE WINE

Essi Avellan: Pale lemon color. Highly floral nose, almost too fragrant. Earthy chalkiness bringing rusticity. Feels sweetish on the finish. | 84

Simon Field: Straw and citrus, a touch of reduction, then forest fruits murmur in the distance. A worrying sweetness creeps around the ensemble, flirtatious but wearing too much rouge. The finish cloys, and what might have been is never to be. | 85

Tom Stevenson: Fresh and grippy. Nice energy and life. Not speaking Meunier, but an excellent Champagne nonetheless. | 89
