Andrew Jefford | The dark black-red wine has relaxed, open- pored aromas of soft, slightly minty warmth; herbs, pine, and sweet leather qualify the gentle blackcurrant fruits. It’s very soft on the palate, with lively acidity. The acidity, though, is round, ripe, and accessible in style, blackcurrant-infused, and the blend and the wine’s oaking has given it an assurance and a polish that some of its peers struggle to attain.
