BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford | Saturated deep black-red. Round, sweet, and warm, though rather soft-contoured, without a lot of aromatic focus or precision. Resins and sweet pine; some juicy peach fruit. That’s the profile the palate delivers, too. Despite the soft contours, this is a wine of impressive concentration. The tannins are ample, even prolific, though soft; the acidity is low; the fruit characters are already rather secondary. I’d enjoy drinking this languid yet compelling wine a lot, though I wouldn’t wait long. It’s very ripe. | 89

Michael Schuster | Nicely perfumed nose; full, quite firmly tannic, moderate in quality, but quite powerful in presence, sweetly fruited and with nice, light length; drinkable early with flavorsome food. Now to 2028. | 89
