BUY THE WINE

Neil Beckett | Medium-deep ruby, natural luster. This has a completely captivating bouquet (a term for which it already qualifies): an amalgam of ripe red and black fruit, with notes of kirsh (the liqueur rather than the eau de vie, as there is nothing in the least raw or spirity), soft spice, and perfumed rose. A caressing entry, well-worn velvet, but with great core energy, freshness, and vitality, all beautifully wrapped in the most exquisitely refined tannins. | 96
