Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | A lot of body, and a strong wood presence on the day of tasting, nice sap, firm tannins, confirming the progress in precision and strength of expression started off with the 2016 vintage. Probably great value for money. And there will be available volume, which is rare from biodynamic domaines in this vintage. | 94–95
Michael Schuster | Dense red and black fruit and mineral; full, fresh, nicely concentrated, and a fine, firm Pauillac tannin, a very nice Pauillac balance; sweet-cored, freshly so, vividly so, rich, juicy, fleshy, a nice length of flavor, a fine tannic frame, and excellent fruit persistence. Matter, density, complexity, and length, plus an unobtrusive Pauillac sinew. A splendid HBL. 2026–40+. | 91–92+
