Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | A gothic Chapelle in this vintage, with rising tannins, and an iridescence from the attack to the silky mid-palate, finishing on chalk. | 96
Michael Schuster | Dense, fragrant, subtly oaky, and "limestone"- tinged, with a raspberry- and redcurrant-fruit presence; rich, medium-full wine, fresh, finely tannic; a very nice richness of fruit marked by a slightly dry wood-tannin texture, and with fine, scented persistence. The finesse slighty marred— at the moment—by the slightly dry oak feel. Likely to need a decade at least. 2030–45+. | 91–92
