Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | The greatest Clinet in history, with a satiny start, then a full, dense, and silky mid-palate, which does not exclude elegance, freshness, and an irresistible floral finish. A favorite of the year in Pomerol. | 96
Michael Schuster | finely oaky nose, subtle, but the wood clear and scented and persistent; full, fresh, quite firmly oak-tannic, a very nice balance, with fine tanins, but a touch wood-dry in texture; a fine, graceful, transparent core fruit, pure, fragrant, subtly fleshy, freshly sweet, long and racy; gently warm, and with very fine length to follow through, with a delicate fruit and a beautiful perfume on the finish. A remarkably complete, even, harmonious Pomerol, which will, I guess, absorb its slight oakiness. Beautiful. 2030–45+. | 93–94
