Michael Schuster | Nose of blackcurrant and blackberry; full, lively, concentrated, a very finely defining tannin, a delicious balance; deep and vividly sweet in flavor, lots of matter, especially for Conseillante, vivid red- and black-fruit ripe, a great abundance of fruit and fragrance, long across the palate, and long and crisply scented to finish. A dense, flesh- filled, long-term wine, splendidly complete, gently muscular, the result of a deliberate change of style, clear to taste, but retaining all its usual finesse, too.
