BUY THE WINE

Michael Edwards: Snowy mousse, dynamic freshness and thrust, if seemingly quite young still: a snapshot. | 89

Simon Field: Iridescent lemon color. Very attractive nose of mirabelle plum, hazelnut, and quince; brioche and wild honey, sourdough and pink grapefruit, layered and richly rewarding, with expressive fruit, fine balance, and real power on the finish. | 95

Anne Krebiechl: Golden color. Slight hints of butter and apricot pastry on the nose suggest subtle richness. The palate reveals wonderful variety underneath its taut core of freshness: there is the depth of wet chalk, the stringent, cleansing sense of lemon zest, the salty thrill of purity. Again, this seems very young, almost too young, and leaves me feeling that it might have had more time in bottle. This is so energetic, so brisk and bracing, its long life assured. | 95
