Michael Edwards: Reductive; a slight bitterness. | 86
Simon Field: Decidedly decadent nose of white chocolate, figs, and digestive biscuit; the palate maintains this luxuriant theme, mellow, mature, at ease with itself; a teasing scherzo but then a soft and gently lyrical finale. Not that decadent after all, but nostalgic and calm. Far from disagreeable. | 88
Anne Krebiechl: Golden color. Both flint and dried lemon peel inform the nose. On the palate, a far more sonorous tone of dark fir honey appears, suggesting depth and wet chalk, earth and evolved fruit notes. These radiate from a taut core of freshness, displaying their richness against the enlivening briskness. The balance on the finish is refreshing, moreish, clean, and long with a real sense of lemon rind. | 94
