BUY THE WINE

Andrew Jefford | Dark, dense black-red. Plum and black-cherry scents, but slightly tinny in style, lacking freshness and lift. Concentrated and deep though rather stringy, lacking mid-palate wealth and richness. 2018–23. | 84

Michael Schuster | Dense, freshly ripe fruit; full, concentrated, tannic wine, with an abundance of most aspects; this is quite powerful at the same time as being quite raw, plenty of black-ripe fruit, yes, but a lively acidity and a very firm tannin make this a quite strong wine, with a muscular structure. Long-term patience required. 2024–30+. | 89
