The attack is fresh and lifted, perhaps because of the high proportion of Sauvignon Blanc in the blend, and the palate, with its bright apricot fruit, does lack a little weight and unctuousness. Andrew Jefford | Full, deep yellow. Lush, unctuous, and full, with lavish peach and apricot scents and a cascade of fruit blossom, too. Great charm and allure, and hugely aromatic. On the palate, this is rich, mouth-filling, lively, and with ample summer- fruit sweetness; the complexities come from a faintly savory note. The finish is tangy and bright, thanks to lively summer-fruit acidity. Expressive and articulate Sauternes. 2018–28. | 92
