Stephen Brook | Light gold. Peaches, mandarins, and honey mark the nose, contributing to a splendid aromatic cocktail. The attack is fresh and lifted, perhaps because of the high proportion of Sauvignon Blanc in the blend, and the palate, with its bright apricot fruit, does lack a little weight and unctuousness. I suspect this needs time to flesh out, but it shows ample elegance and poise. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Full, deep yellow. Lush, unctuous, and full, with lavish peach and apricot scents and a cascade of fruit blossom, too. Great charm and allure, and hugely aromatic. On the palate, this is rich, mouth-filling, lively, and with ample summer- fruit sweetness; the complexities come from a faintly savory note. The finish is tangy and bright, thanks to lively summer-fruit acidity. Expressive and articulate Sauternes. 2018–28. | 92
