Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | A wonderful Latour, albeit in a new and unfamiliar register: softer and more floral on the nose, more refined in feel, but nevertheless with great body, texture, and tannic support. The effects of biodynamic viticulture are beginning to make themselves felt. Tasted at the château. | 96
Michael Schuster | Ripe in fruit, and gently gravelly in aroma; rich, generous, vital in acidity, finely firm in tannin, a fine long-term balance without being particularly dense; but a very nice depth of flavor, ripe, vivid, and with a particularly appetizing quality; sweetly rich behind the acidity, long and refined across the palate, with great length of notably aromatic aftertaste. Lovely wine, fresh, ripe, dry—very Bordeaux—without the impression of being a grand year. 2030–47+. | 94–96
