Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve | A little more restrained than the grand vin, with mineral and floral notes of identical class. A unity of style, which is normal for these two cuvées but always just as welcome. Tasted at the château. | 94
Michael Schuster | Crisply ripe and mineral to smell; medium-full, crisp in acidity, finely tannic; succulently ripe fruit, long and racy to taste, fine, taut, aromatic, linear, very long and gravelly to finish. A touch of austerity, yes, but with a lovely juicy quality, too, and, as with the grand vin, a classical, non- excessive Bordeaux balance. 2026–40+. | 90–92
