BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage | Medium-deep color. Very cherry on the nose. Rich, ripe, and creamy, with fruit elegantly packed in on the palate. Nicely made, with not a hair out of place. Drinking now but will repay laying down. Drink from 2020. | 92

Bruno Besa | Deep ruby to garnet. Mature, clean, slightly closed black-fruits nose, with smoked red meat, dried herbs, and hints of tar. Medium to full body, with a generous, mature palate and long, muscular finish. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Dark, deep, but clear black-red. Some exuberant, warm, spicy fruit here, a jonquil hint, too, and better aromatic wealth and ripeness than for many. On the palate, there is concentration, depth, structure, and some deep, spicy fruits; an admirable effort for the vintage, and a wine with at least half a decade ahead of it. In the context of this vintage, the word “sturdy” would not be misplaced here. | 90
