BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Garnet to pink. Open, mineral, crushed white-stones nose with small red fruits and complex, floral roses-and-violets character. Medium to full body, refined, complex, polished small red-fruits palate. Long and inviting. | 93

Stephen Brook | A whiff of jam on the nose, raspberry coulis, mocha. Soft attack, and then severe tannins clamber onto the palate. So, some flatness, as well as excessive grippiness. Not sure what to make of this, so confused is the wine. The soupy texture is worrying, combined with a distinct angularity. Not much pleasure here, and it’s hard to imagine it will be more harmonious with time. | 84

Andrew Jefford | Deep, glowing clear red. Warm, rich, and well-rounded aromas, though without a lot of aromatic detail. Enticing nonetheless. After some time in the glass, there is more aromatic complexity, and the cream and red fruits are both attractively amplified; a touch of tar evident also. In the mouth, it’s deep, vivid, rounded, ripe, and generous. Eminently recommendable and liable to improve with storage, after which it may well merit a higher score. | 90
