Nicolas Belfrage: Hints of turn in color. Nose not entirely clean. Decline to mark. NS

Bruno Besa: Garnet to livery pink rim. Intense, refined, complex, elegant nose, with rose water, wild strawberries, red cherries, and hints of crushed stones. Elegant, inviting, and complex palate, with perfectly clean red fruit and a long, super-clean finish. Another impeccable Sangiovese that needs a few years to show its complex side. 93

Andrew Jefford: Clear, translucent red. A fruit profile a little simpler than for the best of its peers: redcurrant and cherry, in sweet style. Lots of charm, though. On the palate, this wine is in fact more impressive than the aromatic profile suggested it would be: rich and generously constituted, though the fruit remains very sweet in style. Charm but some grandeur, too. 88
