Nicolas Belfrage: Fulsome, pungent nose promising somewhat more than the palate delivers. Correct cherry character to begin with, but a finish that owes more to wood than to fruit. 12

Stephen Brook: Fairly deep red. A lean, reserved nose of cherries. Medium -bodied, but this is slightly green and hard, raw and astringent. I doubt that this will im prove with time. 10

Alison Buchanan: Ruby-garnet with a garnet rim - a very mature colour. Creme brulee and grilled berries, and then a sudden leap towards an old-fashioned style of dried autumnal fruits and dried leaves. A wee bit thin. 13
