Nicolas Belfrage: Deep with some of the Brunello “funkiness” (how else to describe it – slightly decadent vegetal-fruity smell). Less concentration than previous, better acidity, less harmonious but correct and well made, having length. 17
Roy Richards Strange, not disagreeable, fermenting fruit, perhaps malic. Palate has the highest acidity of all to date with some green apple on the end of the palate. I wonder it this finished its malo? 12
Franco Ziliani: Interesting, concentrated, complex nose with ripe fruit (plum and black cherries), aromatic herbs, dried flowers, mineral, leathery, peppery notes and a good sense of Mediterranean Tuscan terroir. Good complexity on the palate, rich, solid, fresh, with good fruit tannins, energy, a balanced acidity that give life and pleasure and rich savor to the wine. Well-made, good to drink now, but with an interesting ageing potential. 17
