Stephen Brook | The nose is rich and quite opulent and arresting, with a whiff of oak. Suave on the palate, even creamy, with admirable concentration and a welcome lift of acidity. There’s mocha, as well as red fruits, here, and there are ample tannins and even a touch of dryness that should diminish rather than amplify. Despite the tannins, this is relatively forward.
