Stephen Brook: Lean nose, a bit tart. Lean, tight, quite concentrated and taut, but rather one-dimensional. Has acidity, but it's not that persistent or complex. Fades on finish. A bit lame. overall. 13

Jancis Robinson: Shy but possibly convincingly delicate nose. Lots of acidity. Rather shy but very compact and concentrated. Some astringency. May well get there eventually, but it is determined not to hurry. 14.5

Alexander Scott: While aromatically similar to the Konigsbacher ldig, this does not have the creaminess or volume on the palate. It is slightly spritzig and much more nervy. It tastes as though it is more a Spatlese level of ripeness than Auslese. Very dry to finish. Good stuff. if without enormous individuality. 15.5
