Simon Field: Deep colour, then very youthful grapey notes dominate the nose. Palate is straightforward, with plenty of ripe fruit, a balanced structure and a spicy finish that falls away somewhat in a narrow corridor of dense tannin. 14.5
Richard Mayson: A nother hot, but this time rather rustic, nose. Raw fruit and pronounced spicy tannins. Rather raw, rustic length - this needs plenty of time to come together. 12
Jancis Robinson: Maroon/crimson. Not much on the nose other than alcohol. Very sweet start and then lots of extremely noticeable acidity. Not that much tannin or intensity. Relatively lightweight. 11
