Richard Mayson: Deep and opaque in color; very opulent and floral, with minty ripeness; overt and heady, reflecting the warmth and ripeness of the growing season; similarly sweet, rich, and opulent on the palate (3.7° Baumé) but backed by dense, gritty tannins that rise in the mouth, sweetness and opulence returning on the finish. Lovely silk-velvet texture and length. Drink 2020–40. 18
