Simon Field: Clumsy and slightly odd on the nose; palate either young beyond its years or merely mediocre. 10

Richard Mayson: Soft and jammy, flattering and lacking the structure to develop over the long term. Simple spicy finish. Quite short. 11

Jancis Robinson: Mid-intensity. Very sweet, quite intriguing nose - relatively complex. Very flattering now - opulent like the Nacional and Dow’s - but without quite enough density to convince me it will make it through. Rather unsubtle. 11
