Jesús Barquín:Heavy and rustic, lacking definition on the nose. Better on the palate, but not convincing enough. Among the poorest in this tasting. 12

Richard Mayson:Very deep inky color; fragrant but rather edgy green, underripe aromas; firm, quite well defined, but with rather harsh green tannins to back up the fruit. Lean finish. 12

Charles Metcalfe:Dark, rich, treacly. Surprisingly, very smooth and actually quite light. Good acidity, but lacks the density and fruit weight of most. What tannins there are seem rather rough. Pleasantly fresh, but lacks real fruit weight and intensity. 12
