BUY THE WINE

Gerard Basset: Medium green-yellow. Quite earthy on the nose, with some pastry notes. Ripe, with an excellent balance. Spicy and smoky; medium-long finish. 16.5

Marcel Orford-Williams: Big and sweet, quite full. Poor finish, lacks depth, no bollocks. 12

Roy Richards: Greeny gold and very botrytised, Riesling not recognisable. It does, however, have good acidity. What it lacks is grace. It is a bit heavy-handed and excessive. 14
