Andrew Jefford: Dark though translucent black-red. A touch reduced but there is plenty of warm strawberry and raspberry beneath. After five minutes the reductive closeness lessens somewhat. Lively, intense, vivid apple and plum fruits in relatively sweet, accessible style; there is more balance here from the shapely, firm tannins than from the sweetly juicy acidity. Without that reductive cast this promising wine would merit a higher score. | 88
Jasper Morris: Pure fresh color, with a strongly reductive nose. This should work out, as the finish is cleaner, though with a bit of spritz on the palate. I like the weight of dark raspberry fruit, but the wine remains unproven at this stage.| 84
Catherine Petrie: Medium, brilliant crimson. This wine shows good concentration of primary fruit, with an abundance of raspberries and redcurrants. The palate has a succulence derived from the juicy intensity of fruit combined with a bright, fresh acidity, making the flow across the mid-palate intense without being heavily weighted. There is a peppery freshness in its subtly reductive character, and a lot to like. The tannins are already sweet and largely resolved into the fruit. Drinking well now. | 89
