BUY THE WINE

Gerard Basset: Medium young gold. Very appealing spicy nose, with some wild mushroom. Fairly rich, retro-olfaction slightly spicy, medium finish. 14

Marcel Orford-Williams: Sweeter still than the Vieilles Vignes Pinot Gris, but cleaner and better concentration. But what on earth do you drink it with? At best, still only adequate. 10

Roy Richards: Botrytis, some apricot, palate is very luscious and then drops short with alcohol as only length. Decent, but what do you do with it? 12
