Gerard Basset: Medium yellow. Not very expressive, SO2 detectable. A bit dull, moderate retro-olfaction, medium- short finish. 12

Marcel Orford-Williams: More aromatic, more Muscat d ’Alsace. Again sweetish and catty. Long, minty finish. Tastes old already. 12

Roy Richards: Privet hedge and deeper gold, this is more like it. Much drier than the Roily Gassmann Muscat. Acidity and a little too much alcohol come through, but a great aperitif, just one glass. 14
